Payment and Cancellation Policy

Tour Rates (per person)

Local Samoan Family Visit: US$185 (WST485), Children 3-11 years US$155 (WST405)
Cruise Ship Excursion: US$130 (WST338), Children 3-11 years US$105 (WST275 ) 
 

1. Payment Options 

Guests may choose one of the following payment methods:

• Bank transfer (info available in the confirmation email)

• Secure online payment link (available in the confirmation email)

 
 

2.  Booking Deposits

Standard Individual Bookings

  • To confirm booking, a 30% (or more) deposit up front and the remaining 70% at least 48 hours before the tour.

Large Group/Custom Bookings

For large group bookings, private tours, or customised itineraries – To confirm booking, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit secures your tour date, transport, guides, and all required services. Planning and coordination begin once the booking is confirmed.

    •    This will be clearly communicated at the time of booking

    •    The deposit helps cover advance costs and scheduling commitments

    •    The remaining balance will be payable by bank transfer 21 days before the tour.

    •    Bookings made within 21 days of arrival require full payment immediately to confirm services.

 

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Standard Individual Bookings:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the tour, full refund of the 30% deposit.
  • Cancellation 7 days down to 48 hours before the tour, no refund of the 30% deposit.
  • Cancellation 48 hours or less before the tour or no-show, no refund of the 100% deposit.

 

4. No-Show Policy

Guests who do not attend their scheduled tour without prior notice will be charged the full tour amount.

 
 

5. Weather & Operator Cancellations:

If Island Journey Samoa must cancel a tour due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered:

    •    A full refund, or

    •    The option to reschedule to another available date

 
 

6. Best Price Guarantee Policy

We guarantee our best available rates when you book directly through the official Island Journey Samoa website. If you find a lower publicly available price for the same tour, date, and inclusions, please contact us, and we’ll review it. Third-party platforms may include additional service or booking fees.
